Homeowner Listing Help and Information
My Profile
“My Profile” will provide guests with the necessary information in which to contact you directly. All information provided will be displayed on the property listing itself, and on the owners’ page of the website. The following information can be entered:
- Name
- Picture
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Cell phone number
- Facebook link
- Twitter link
- Pinterest link
- About me
- Rental location
Add or edit information on ‘My Profile”
- Login to your homeowner dashboard.
- Click on ‘My Profile”.
- Enter information into the text field/s that you would like to share.
- Click “Update Profile”
Property Description
The property description provides you the opportunity to market your property. Your goal should be to create a listing that presents your home and its setting as inviting, welcoming, and relaxing. A well-written, informative description gives a positive impression of both you, and your home, and encourages the potential guest to book your home. Be sure to describe your home and its environment accurately.
Photos
Photos are displayed on the listing in 2 ways.
1. Clickable Featured Image
This property photo is the largest and appears across the top of your listing. Once clicked, additional images will be shown. Use the arrow keys to move left or right (forward or backward), or click on one of the photos in the image bar beneath the larger photo.
2. Photo gallery
Your pictures are displayed in a multi-picture gallery format, allowing guests to view all of your pictures without having to click on them one at a time. These pictures can also be clicked on to display the larger pop-up versions.
Upload new or replacement photos:
- Login to your homeowner dashboard.
- Click on “My Listings”.
- Click on the “Edit” link, shown as a grey pencil, just below the property listing photo, in the lower left block.
- Click on”Images”.
- Click on “Select Media”.
- Upload your photos from your computer by navigating within your computer to where your photos are stored.
- Select the photo.
- Click the “Open” button in the lower right corner.
- Once photos are uploaded, click “Save and Next”
Re-arrange your photos
- Click on “Images”.
- Drag and drop your photos in the desired order.
Add additional photos beyond those included in your listing
- Click on “Images”.
- Upload your photos from your computer by navigating within your computer to where your photos are stored.
- Click on “Save and Next”.
- Click on “Payment” from the top listing menu.
- Follow the steps to submit an online credit card payment or PayPal payment.
How to delete a Photo
- Click on the delete icon in the upper right corner of the photo.
How to make a Photo Featured
- Double click on a photo. A star will appear in the upper right corner of the picture designating it as the featured photo.
Video
Upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo.
YouTube
Once the video is uploaded to YouTube, you will need the link to the video that YouTube assigns. That link will be used in “images” to upload your video. From youtube, click on the “Share” link, just below the video. a link will pop up below. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THE ENTIRE LINK into your listing. ONLY copy and paste the number portion, as shown below.
Vimeo
Once the video is uploaded to Vimeo, you will need the link to the video that Vimeo assigns. That link will be used in “images” to upload your video. From Vimeo, click on the “Share” link (paper airplane). Just below the video. a link will pop up. DO NOT COPY AND PASTE THE ENTIRE LINK into your listing. ONLY copy and paste the number portion, as shown below.
Rate Calendar
How to set or edit your Rate Calendar
- Login to your Homeowner Dashboard.
- Click on “My Listings”.
- Click on “Edit Listing” (shown as a small grey pencil. in the lower left corner, beneath the listing picture.)
- Click on “Price”.
- Scroll down to the “Rate Calendar”.
- Choose the date the rate is to start (“turnover” day).
- Choose the date the rate is to end ( “turnover” day).
- Complete the “Custom Price” pop up form.
- Click “Set Price For Period”
Rates can be set per day, per week, per month, or per season. Rates will appear on the “Pricing and Availability Calendar” and on the rate schedule, on your property listing page.
How to set or edit your Availability Calendar
- Login to your homeowner dashboard.
- Click on “My Listings”.
- Click on “Edit Listing” (shown as a small grey pencil. in the lower left corner, beneath the listing picture.)
- Click on “Calendar”.
- Choose the date the block or reservation is to start (“turnover” day).
- Choose the date the block or reservation is to end (“turnover” day).
- Complete the “Reserve a Period” pop up form.
- Click “Book Period”.
- To delete these dates as blocked or reserved, click on “Reservations” from your homeowner dashboard.
Be sure to update your calendar regularly, with current pricing and availability.
All in One Calendar
*All in One does NOT work on mobile devices
The All in One calendar is the quickest and easiest way to adjust your calendar or to add a reservation.
- Login to your homeowner dashboard
- Click on “All in One”calendar.
- Choose your start date or “turnover” day.
- Choose your end date or “turnover” day.
- Complete the “Custom Price and Period Reservation” pop up form. ( If these dates are reserved, be sure to check the box “Mark days as booked”)
- Click “Set Price For Period”.
To delete dates as reserved, Click on “Reservations” from your homeowner dashboard.
